During these last 2 years and thanks to the space provided by the Berlin Dance Institute, Germany I have had the opportunity to explore the world of choreography.

In the first instance, working on a solo called La TaurA, which explores the archetype of the bullfighting woman. Taking the bull as an iconic element of stubbornness, strength and kindness, an animal that, especially in Hispanic culture, has been and continues to be belittled and mistreated, used as a pack and entertainment animal. Which is too similar to the image of the woman. That is why I take this image to take a journey through the struggles, searches and pain that have afflicted minorities over the years. This is only an invitation to come face to face with this mythological, incredibly true, kind and strong being, that animal that we can all inhabit.

This first encounter with the world of choreography awakened in me the need to continue exploring the creation and exploration of new forms of communication on stage. That is why during 2021 I have launched a group piece called #unsereTRIBE, this choreographic exploration that is still in progress seeks to delve deeper and make us reflect on ourselves, who are we? What moves us? What defines us? These are questions that we ask ourselves many times throughout our lives. However, we rarely allow ourselves to recognize that we are "a work in progress" that what we identify with today is not the same as what we felt was true yesterday, and that regardless of whether we find answers or not, those answers never leave us. to relate in my encounter with others. The other also determines me. Therefore, this work is a call to not lose connection, to keep our senses alert, to let ourselves be amazed by what happens along the way, and to use all the resources that are around us. It is a roller coaster of sensations, in which we use our bodies and voices, dance, texts, songs and oranges become part of this feast, and with this we also want to invite the public to be part of it.
